In the group show event our Team Quartet: Nicola Stevens, Niamh Dawson, Lucy Richardson and Hannah Godwin came second place gaining silver medals for their routine to Titanic.

I am so proud of the whole team and how much effort they put in. I am very grateful to have such a supportive set of parents and fantastic community support for the club. It is a tremendous achievement to take part in the championships and the skaters exceed expectations every time. We had so much fun as timings allowed the skaters to enjoy a picnic, birthday celebration meal and cinema trip too. It was a memorable championships and with new World Skate Rollart judging systems now in place the skaters can take away feedback for improvement.

Anyone interested in beginner lessons can come along on Thursday evenings 4.30-5.30pm at Shildon and you can see more details on our up to date Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
