The Tanning Shop with an upstairs sewing business at Simpasture gate shops suffered a break in during the early hours of Monday morning this week.
The burglars first broke away an iron bar gate covering the back door before using a jemmy to gain entry to the shop premises.
Once inside they stole the £70 float from the till, valuable face creams and other cosmetic items, but then the heartless thieves took charity sweet money and three collection boxes on the counter.
Andrew and Karen, the owners, are disgusted the heartless thieves would steal charity money.
The damage to the property is estimated at £600 and the total value of goods stolen amounts to approximately £200
The Police are investigating after taking fingerprints, and foot prints made by trainers. Anyone who can help the Police are asked to contact the Police on 101.
