A massive well done to the Children’s Community Choir SHINE who entertained family and friends over last weekend in their musical production ‘Pirates Versus Mermaids’.
The 50 strong choir is made up from children aged between 4 – 15 years from our local community. The Mermaids dazzled and the Pirate Crew shone as they delighted the packed hall at St. Clare’s, with sea shanty’s and catchy songs.
The boys and girls had worked very hard learning all their lines and perfecting their acting skills, their confidence and enjoyment was commented on by many who came to watch. A huge thank you to all who came along to help on the night too and who helped with the scenery and sound to make everything go so well.
The children will be rewarded with a party in the next few weeks before they break for the summer.
Well done to the whole of the SHINE family who put everything they have to help this choir succeed.
