Dear Sir,

Shine Choir would normally have held a fundraising Tombola at their Nativity performances, of course, that wasn’t to be last year. But, we still had collected a fair few items.

After reading the plea from Heather Wilson, requesting toiletries and gifts for Ward 10 (end of life care ward), the team sprung into action and arranged a collection of these gifts for the patients.

Part of the mission statement of the choir is that we seek to serve our communities through the way we live our lives – this is why Shine really is such an apt name – these children are beacons of light!

Under normal circumstances the children would have presented the gifts, as the gifts come from them, however, the team did so on their behalf!

Well Done Shine.
