One of the world’s best known fairytale Princesses will be visiting Shildon Civic Hall as Shildon Centre Stage fairytale production ‘Beauty and the Beast’ is performed from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st June.
The well known story follows the adventures of the lovely Belle as she moves into the enchanted castle and begins her new life with several strange characters including a talking scarecrow who appears to suffer from hayfever and a loveable talking cat. But will she miss her old life with Crisp her loving sister and her father whom she loves very much.
The story unfolds with some great foot tapping songs to some really funny comedy moments with the loveable chocolate loving Muck and Fuddle as they attempt to help the family bring Belle home. One of our lovelable comedy duo, Fuddle, who stems from Aycliffe says, “This will be an excellent Summer Panto for all the family, with all the normal audience participation and plenty of music and dance for everyone to enjoy.”, and all at an affordable price.
The shows begin on Friday night with the curtain opening at 7.30pm, then two afternoon shows starting at 2pm on the Saturday and Sunday. Doors open half an before the show begins.
