Sedgefield Water Polo Club held its annual presentation evening at Moore Lane Sports Club in Newton Aycliffe on Saturday 16th November.

The evening was a great success and was attended by players, coaches, parents and the Mayor of Newton Aycliffe, Mary Dalton, who assisted with presenting the certificates of participation to the club members.

The club also held a raffle with a range of prizes donated by parents and local businesses, including Newton Press, Tesco and Durham County Council. All proceeds from the raffle – totalling £169 – has been donated to the Mayors Charity, SSAFA, in order to support our Armed Forces personnel, including current serving members, veterans and their families. On behalf of everyone at the Club, we would like to thank everyone for their generosity in supporting such a fantastic charity.
