Great results again for the swimmers of Sedgefield 75 Swimming Club, competing locally at Wear Valley Gala this weekend.
12 swimmers took to the pool, racing in 72 swims and bringing home 34 medals and 32 personal best times.
Competing this weekend were Emma Price, Chloe Harding, Robert Price, Matthew Wimbury, Oliver Turnbull, James Hodgson, Kathryn Lee, Katelyn Craig, Charlie McEwan, Ethan Craig, Zoe Hodgson and Charlotte Lee.
Emma Price took gold in the 50 Back, 100 Breast, 200 Back, 50 Fly, 100 Back, 50 Breast and 100 Free and silver in the 100 Fly and 200 IM.
Chloe Harding took bronze in the 200 Back.
Matthew Wimbury took gold in the 400 IM, 50 Back and 100 IM and silver in the 50 Breast, 100 Free, 100 Breast and 50 Free.
James Hodgson took gold in the 100 Back, 100 Free, 200 Free, 50 Back, 400 Free and 50 Free, silver in the 400 IM and bronze in the 200 IM and 100 IM.
Kathryn Lee took bronze in the 50 Fly. Katelyn Craig took silver in the 100 Fly, 50 Free, 400 Free and bronze in the 100 IM and 200 Free.
Ethan Craig took bronze in the 100 Back and 100 Free.
All races were stopped at 11am on Sunday 11th November as all the clubs respectfully observed a 2 minute silence.

Leah Smith and Mateusz Wilczynski took part in the North East Regionals at Sheffield earlier this month and both swam well. This was the first time for Mateusz competing at a regional event and he placed 11th in the 50 Fly, which is an incredible achievement.
