The Science Department at Woodham Academy welcomed 55 parents and Year 5 students to their annual Science Open Evening. Parents were drawn into the fantasy science world of wizardry, dragons and magic.
The evening was full of ‘hands on’ practical tasks – such as building DNA from jelly babies and making water rockets. The parents thoroughly enjoyed being back to school for the evening. They rated the evening as outstanding – all parents were awarded a certificate for participating in the event!
