Newton Aycliffe Rotary Club are again intending to support the Rotary North East Games for the Disabled which will take place on 7th July at Eston Sports Complex, Normanby Road, Middlesbrough. The games cater for all sports of disabilities.

The Games, which have run for over 20 years, consist of various events ranging from individual ones such as Javelin, Archery, Distance Club Throwing, Darts, Table Tennis, Frisbee, Curling, Swimming and many others to team sport such as Walking Football, Sit Down Volleyball, Outdoor Cricket.

The games start at 10a.m. with registration and usually finish with presentations around 4-4.30p.m.

Transportation can be provided from Newton Aycliffe by J & C Coaches courtesy of Newton Aycliffe Rotary Club and entry to the games is free.
