Illustrated dictionaries were presented to year 6 students of St. Mary’s R.C. Primary School by Rotarians Angela Stevenson (left) and Paul Whiting (back centre) with their teacher Mrs. Mason (back right). The Rotary Club of Newton Aycliffe is giving dictionaries to all year 6 students in the area as part of this International Organisation’s aim to help improve English studies in the students’ final year and promote literacy throughout the world.
St Francis Year 6 students received their dictionaries from the President of the Rotary Club Geoff Batchelor assisted by Rotarian David Thompson (at the back).

Williams (left) and Head Teacher Mrs. Duffy. The Rotary Club of Newton Aycliffe is giving these dictionaries to all year 6 students in the area as part of the Dictionary 4 Life Project to help with English studies in their final year at Junior School and their onward progression to Senior School.
