Volunteers Scott Nicholls and Malcolm Wheldon unload the goods

Thanks to the generous gift from the town’s Rotary Club, Lifeline Community Action have been able to take delivery of a huge amount of household products to help people in crisis.

This week we’re expecting to have our busiest week since we started the ‘Helping Hands’ project as the number of people ringing for our help has reached its annual peak.

Common situations people can find themselves in can actually involve serious and long-term problems including rent and mortgage arrears, job loss and relationship breakdown.

If you would like to find out more about the ‘Helping Hands’ project or find yourself in crisis and need our help, please phone Alwyn White – Project Co-ordinator on 07936 431262
