Newton Aycliffe Rotary Club’s Welfare Officer, Geoff Batchelor, presents a cheque for £1000 to Co-Chairman of Great Aycliffe Community Aid Partnership, Susan Saddler. The money is for partners to call on to help people in need in Aycliffe and was raised from the annual Rotary Club Charity Golf Day held at Woodham Golf Course in September.
It was a successful day thanks to the sponsorship of Hall Construction the owners of the course, who support GACAP’s aims in helping disadvantaged people in the community.
