The South West Durham Branch of the REME Association had the pleasure of donating to two very worthwhile local charities on Wednesday 29th June.
This years chosen charities were The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) represented by Mrs Diane Walker and Macmillan Cancer Support represented by Mr Kevin Richardson.
The money raised by the REME Association was from a Grand Spring Raffle run by the branch members who worked tirelessly to make the event our most successful to date.
The cheques were presented at the Scout Centre, Bluebell Way, Newton Aycliffe, which is where the REME Association meet at 8pm on the last Wednesday of every month.
