Dear Sir,
I have noticed that Durham County Council resurfaced part of Burnhill Way, (heading towards the roundabout at Cobblers Hall), not so long ago.
However, at the junction of Stephenson Way and Burnhill Way, there are two large channels right across the road probably less than 25 feet before they started to resurface the road.
Perhaps they should rename this road Racecourse Road, as the channels are probably as deep as the jumps at Aintree, and certainly feels like it when you pass over them.
This will cause damage to suspension and springs.
Typical incompetence by the Council!
Surely it would have made sense to repair those channels while they were resurfacing the rest of Burnhill Way?
