Friends of St. Clare’s wish to thank the twenty to thirty people who attended the service on Sunday 26th. November 2017 at 11.15am. Thanks to Rev. Elizabeth Bland for leading the prayers. As a small token of appreciation from Friends of St Clare’s, free refreshments were served following the Service, including tea, coffee, biscuits and delicious mince pies.

The campaign to raise money for this lifesaving piece of equipment was run by Friends of St. Clare’s and the defibrillator was installed outside the Church Hall for the benefit of the whole community.

Friends of St Clare’s have been and will continue to raise funds to help St. Clare’s Church in many ways into the future and more information will be forthcoming in 2018. Details will then be published as to how you can be involved in this organisation.

So far the following funds have been raised mainly for the defibrillator fund. The WI £200; Marion Ascough £5; The late Hilda Heaton £10; All Sorts Charity Shop £100; St. Clare’s Church Christmas Greeting Fund £181.16; Honest John £1,000; The Rotary Club £250; GAMP £350. Thank you to all those involved.
