Dear Editor
A topic which annoys me and others nearby is why do owners of male dogs allow / let their dogs urinate up plants in containers at the front of our houses when they are walking their dogs. Obviously the dogs are not “supervised” or surely the owner(s) would stop them?
Most of the time the owner has walked ahead and let their dog(s) “follow on” and they are not on a lead.
We take pride in the pots we put out on our pavements as we don’t have front gardens, and it is really annoying when plants die because of the urine put on them. If you could print this article, it might make dog owners more vigilant. Do the owners let their dog(s) urinate up containers in their own gardens?
