Woodham Academy hosted its annual Year 11 Examination Certificates Presentation Evening last Thursday.  The event marked the final chapter for all of the year 11 students.  It was an opportunity to meet so many successful students again and present them with their final exam certificates.
Deputy Headteacher Jonathan Lumb said “it was fantastic to celebrate the students’ achievements. So many of them have now gone on to further education or training and are utilising their many talents and have already got fantastic futures ahead of them.”
Three students in attendance on the night are now studying at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form Centre, Darlington. Haydn Maclean is now studying A Levels in Maths, Chemistry, Biology and PE and wants to study Applied Dentistry at University before going into the army.
Chris Horn is studying Maths, Biology, and Psychology and wants to study Clinical Psychology. Alex Smith is studying PE, History, Psychology and Applied Sciences and is hoping to realise his dream of becoming a physiotherapist.
Woodham Academy would like to wish all of our ex-students success in their continued studies
