Woodham Post Office temporarily closed on 29th March and are currently looking for a new operator for the branch. The previous proposed move fell through following the withdrawal of interest by the potential new operator.
A Post Office spokesperson said: “We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure of Woodham Post Office following the resignation of the postmaster and withdrawal of premises for Post office use.
We understand and appreciate how much communities rely on our services and would like to reassure customers that we are working hard to restore the service to the community as soon as possible and are committed to maintaining services in the area.
