Dear Sir,
May I raise the subject of grasscutting as we pay council tax to pay for the service so why is it carried out in such a slap dash way?
Large areas of grass are uncut and nobody comes along to trim the edges from the path and grass cuttings are strewn everywhere without any attempt to sweep it up.
The workmen come along seated on large cutting machinery and zip acros the gras like bats out of hell! The speed the ytravel is very dangerous and i dread to think what would happen if a child stepped onto their path. howcan these large cutters cut small areas? They are too bulky and what is needed is smaller equipment to od the job propoerly and a more caring attitude. I suspect the bosses are either indifferent to what is going on or never bother to check the deplorable state of the grassed areas in Aycliffe. Many people like myself mow their own bit of grass in front of their homes to tidy up after the bodged work done by Council staff.
