Dear Sir,
On Tuesday 6th October my mother was shopping in the town centre, and when she was leaving Aldi a woman started talking to her and another two were standing around closely.
When she got to Wilkinsons she noticed her purse was missing from her handbag, and my mother, who is in her 80’s, thinks she was distracted by the woman while one of the other two took her purse from her handbag which was hanging around her shopping trolley.
She reported the incident to the police station soon after. Shoppers in the area should be vigilant and make sure they are not targeted by these heartless pick pockets.
