I was dismayed to see that Phil Wilson has had the gall to seek re-election and that he has been re-selected by his local Party under the ‘Labour’ banner. Clearly, both he and his local Constituency Party lack the moral compass required for our local democracy to survive.
The Labour Constituency Party is in denial that the Labour Party have been taken-over by Momentum. They would rather ignore the fact that the Constituency voted by an overwhelming majority to leave the E.U. and that Phil Wilson consistently voted in Parliament to stop us leaving. Why should this be the case? Because they are not the Labour Party of old. They have been taken-over by Momentum and have changed from being middle-of-the-road Socialists, to rabid Communists. This is what Corbyn means when he says that the General Election is about ‘Change’. Change within the Labour Party, with an increased membership of Momentum, anti-Semitic and rabid Remainers.
That this change has already happened is evidenced by the fact that a Female Momentum Co-ordinator has twice appeared on ‘The Daily Politics Show’ on BBC to represent ‘Labour’ During discussions she has indicated that Momentum (not Labour) has many new candidates standing for election (under the ‘Labour’ banner).
All Labour voters should heed the advice of former Labour MPs John Woodcock and Ian Austin who both consider that Corbyn is unfit to be Prime Minister. Also, why did the Labour Deputy Leader resign after having defeated an attempt to abolish the position of Deputy Leader? All three have seen the writing on the wall and given up their hopeless fight for the decent Socialist ‘soul’ of the Labour Party.
Phil Wilson’s reward for immediately ignoring his personal pre-election signed promises: “I will respect your Brexit Vote” and, “I am for Labour not for Corbyn” is that, the now, Momentum/Corbyn supporting local party can just about stomach him! They trust him to lie to you, his local electorate (again), so that you can allow yourselves to be fooled into re-electing him! It worked last time!
If Phil Wilson retains a shred of common decency and regard for Democracy he should resign from the Labour/Momentum Party and stand as an Independent Remain candidate, instead of lying to his electorate to gain the vile support of the Communist, Momentum, Anti-Semetic Party that Corbyn’s ‘Labour’ Party has become.
Your local ‘Labour’ Constituency Party is no longer Labour, it is now a Momentum/Remain Party in a Constituency which is LEAVE supporting. Phil Wilson does not deserve your vote. He has deserted you and Labour for Momentum, Remain and Corbyn. He should be aware of the old maxim; when you lie with dogs you catch fleas.
