On Friday the 27th of April, Aycliffe Business Park firm Perry Process Equipment Ltd took part in Football Shirt Friday to raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund, which funds pioneering, life-saving research into bowel cancer. Transport Manager for Perry, Gerry O’ Driscoll, organised the event in memory of his late father-in-law.
The team managed to raise £305. As well as wearing their football shirts, colleagues had fun with a football penalty shootout competition. Some staff members even wore their rival team’s shirt for additional sponsorship! A great day was had and Perry would like to thank friends and family who made a donation, and Bounceabout and Play for providing the inflatable football penalty shootout.
