PCP’s annual Christmas Craft Fair is taking place on Saturday 19 November 10am1pm in the Pioneering Care Centre, Newton Aycliffe. This craft fair has something for everyone; enjoy a relaxed Christmas shopping experience and take part in family activities such as decorating your own Christmas biscuits and make your own festive displays using fresh foliage. Explore the stalls selling jewellery, decorations, handmade toys, delicious homemade foods and find unique Christmas gifts for family, friends and loved ones. Last year hundreds of local residents gathered together to shop, make family decorations and visit Santa. Visitors had the chance to enjoy festive music from local performance groups with face-painting and seasonal stalls in the Mall to pick up early presents. If you are a local musical group or a stall holder and are interested in attending the event, please get in touch (stalls cost £10 per table). The Great Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership (GAMP) are attending as they will have more than £100,000 to spend on Newton Aycliffe and Middridge. And visitors can tell GAMP where they want that money spent.
