Dear Sir,
I took my son to the Party in the Parks on Tuesday 13th August. but was quite disappointed that a number of parents turned up smoking.
Even after all of the health warnings, parents still chose to smoke not only around their children, but other children too.
No-one in my family smokes and my one year old son and I both have asthma. I would like to attend these kinds of events without the constant breeze of chemicals being blown in our faces.
Those parents may want to cause their own helpless children harm, but I certainly should get the choice if my son gets it blown in his face.
I know this is a public space but for events like these could the council not create smoking areas for those weak willed few who can’t go five minutes without nicotine?
