Dear Sir,
I read with interest the comments by the van owner and whilst I am in favour of anyone starting their own business and making a decent and honest living, my objection is that the rest of the surrounding community are affected.
Why does the owner of the van not park in his own area rather than metres away away from his property, causing an eyesore to neighbours? We have all paid good money for our homes and we also pay our council taxes.
What gives you the right to spoil our view with a less than pretty van and to churn up the grass verges which the council try hard to keep nice in these times of severe local government cut-backs?
I have no issue with you parking your van – just do it on your own property and grass verges.
