Dear Editor,
For many years, each spring we have watched the new additions of pedigree puppies as they join the doggy walking routes around the Burn and other parks in the town.
There’s always been a selection of pedigree Spaniels, Labradors, Poodles, Alsatians and many more well known popular attractive breeds. Recently it’s become more popular to have them in pairs as a fashion item, but a change has come about.
Have you noticed how the trend away from pedigrees to more expensive mongrels, with such varieties as Labra Doodle, Cocker Poo and every other combination imaginable?
Last week a new delightful cuddly little woolly back arrived on the scene, apparently it’s a cross between Shitzu and a Poodle. What will they call this little fellow?
