It is with great sadness that we announce that our former CEO, Karen Lynn Jones, lost her battle to cancer on Monday 30th September.
Karen was our colleague, boss and most importantly, friend. It has been through her sheer determination and ambition the partnership has become the fantastic charity it is today.
Karen played a major role in the development of services and projects which have helped change the lives of so many people, not only in Cornforth, but in communities across County Durham.
Our staff team will never be the same, she has left a space no one will ever be able to fill, and her team are heartbroken. All our thoughts are with Karen’s family and friends at this sad time.
