County Durham Furniture Help Scheme, is a registered charity receiving and selling unwanted furniture and household goods. In addition they now sell new white goods and beds with a new project underway to sell  garden furniture from recycled wood. For the first time in many years the CDFHS will be open over the coming Easter weekend: Friday, Saturday & Monday 10:30 am – 3:00pm. They are continuing to issue our “Loyalty Cards” offering a promotional 5% discount off reused goods with a total spend or balance of £10.00.

CDFHS has also introduced a range of locally sourced scrap timber that is being reused by their “Rural Refurb” project to make garden furniture, a range of planters, boxes, bed boxes and custom made items crafted in the Chilton workshops called the “Unforgiven” Range. CDFHS are particularly delighted with the generosity of the general public donating furniture to their cause, and note an increasing volume of people taking the time to bring smaller items in which is proof that the name and ethic is getting more and more well known.

They are continuing to grow our range of “Entry Level white goods and details of the items are available on website www.cdfhs.org.ukCDFHS 1 For any enquiries or to arrange free viewing and collection of furniture and electrical goods please call 9.00am to 4.00pm daily on 01388 721509
