Three representatives of the Aycliffe GKR Karate club were at Bradford for the qualifying competition last week. All went well during the long day, but everyone was focused and had a great time. Sensei Dez Tinkler qualified for Kumite and took silver in team Kumite.
Annalise Tinkler took gold in Kumite, gold in Kata, silver in team Kumite and silver in team Kata. Asa Fletcher took silver in Kumite and silver in Kata. now concentrate on improving the Kata and Kumite for the nationals in November in Sheffield.
Anyone interested in joining the club is invited to come along to Greenfield School on Thursday at 6:30pm and Saturday 10:30am.
