Blue Bridge Centre New Home for Newton Press & Newton News

Newton Press announce their expansion plans, after 52 years with 38 years on St Cuthberts Way. We are letting our current premises and moving to the Blue Bridge Centre, next to the town’s iconic landmark, a refurbished office block offering a cleaner environment, more suitable for the digital print processes now used by the company.
Over the years Newton Press has adopted a very “green” approach to its print manufacture. The company has ISO14001 (environmental Standard) & ISO9001 (Management Standard) only using FSC & PEFC paper from sustainable sources – All paper and card is carbon neutral to offset it’s CO2 footprint. There are no pre-press film or plate making processes as their printing machines are mostly digital.
Inks are vegetable based and the print process uses no chemicals or water whatsoever, removing any need for effluent disposal or special waste licences. This allows Newton Press to produce top quality colour work quickly, eco-friendly, efficiently and at great rates.
This ‘green’ policy enables the company to tender for work from companies who also have ideals in protecting the environment.
The 8,300 square foot facility is bigger than our current premises and incorporates three floors of open space and offices. The property is easily accessible by car, with parking available in our private car park just outside.
The Blue Bridge Centre (BBC) is situated on the boundary of the business park and the residential area of the town right next to the Blue Bridge landmark.
With new spacious premises there will be more room to better serve our customers with a comfortable reception area to sit and discuss your requirements with our sales team.
We will also be bringing new services to enhance our service, with plans which we have been unable to accommodate due to lack of space. Watch Newton News for more details.
