A new specialist training organisation established to meet the growing demands of local businesses on Aycliffe Business Park launched its services last week

With strong ethos, values and credibility, A-Tech Training talked through its offering to interested businesses at the breakfast launch event on 12th July 2013.

Speaking at the event, Managing Director, Diane Shakespeare committed to employers that training would be truly employer led in an environment that relates to engineering and manufacturing and that also assists with local unemployment and skills shortages in the sector.

Businesses were welcomed to give input into the plan with a questions and answer session and supportive messages given from local businesses were warmly received along with encouraging words from Darren Race, chairman of South Durham Business Forum. He encouraged businesses to get on board and embrace A-Tech Training’s inspiring programmes which are due to be launched this month.

The first of their imminent exciting new ventures is the launch of the new government traineeship programme aimed at 16-18 year olds which bridges the gap of unemployment to a fully employed apprenticeship.  A-Tech training will be assisting Baltic Training Services and will be one of the first of its kind in the area demonstrating a high quality 12 week interactive programme with 100% employed apprenticeship outcomes at the end in fabrication and welding, toolmaking and business administration.
