Newtonian David Anderson is the new President of the town’s Rotary Club. David (left) took over from Geoff Batchelor on the 1st July for a year of office.
Older readers may remember David when he worked for Wentons who had numerous shops in the town centre. He was one of their top salesmen and continues in that career selling electical and white goods.
David is married to Gail and they live in Washington Crescent. He will bring his own brand of humour to the club meetings and looks forward to a good year following Rotary ideals in service to the community.
