New residents at Greenwood Court have all received shed alarms to improve security at their new homes.
The alarms were paid for with funding from G.A.M.P, and the Police have also given bike locks and other security equipment to make Aycliffe a safer place.
Horndale Resident Association Chairman Philip Clark requested alarms be distributed to the new tenants. He said “On a new housing estate neighbours are still getting to know each other and may not know if visitors are genuine or looking for easy pickings. This is an easy bit of crime prevention and gives the tenants a warm welcome to their new homes”. If anyone requires crime prevention advice contact their beat officer or call at the Police Station.
