Dear Sir,
I’m very happy to be standing for the Labour Party in the upcoming Great Aycliffe Town Council election in the Byerley Park, Horndale and Cobblers Hall Ward.
I have lived here for all 24 years of my existence and have grown to appreciate how much of a welcoming town Newton Aycliffe is. I currently work at a cinema in Darlington, but prior to this. I worked in our town centre and it was a great experience to meet some of the wonderful people of the town. I have a keen interest in politics and believe, when done right it can benefit many and I believe the Labour Party has put that into practice and as a result our town is enriched from it. It is my hope that if I should have the privilege of being elected, I could help make sure the good work carries on.
I shall not lie, I am inexperienced, but I can promise to you that if I should be so lucky as to be elected, I will strive for the best outcomes for the people of this town to make sure Aycliffe remains such a great town to live in!
