Businesses can benefit from a free workshop exploring current issues around change management at New College Durham’s next Employer Breakfast.

‘Surviving Organisational Change: It’s not you, it’s me’ is a solution-focused workshop designed to give businesses ideas on how to attract, retain and motivate a productive workforce. The workshop will help employers consider how changes can impact staff and explore how to counterbalance any issues that may arise. The speakers, Neil White and Rebecca Dodds, are experts in Management and Human Resource Management and lecture at New College Durham.

The event takes place on Tuesday 24th March from 8am-10am, at New College Durham, Framwellgate Moor campus. This is the first in the College’s 2020 series of employer networking breakfasts. Each event includes a networking breakfast, followed by a workshop or seminar.

Dawn Fairlamb, Vice Principal, commented: “Business owners and employers are subject to constant change, most of which is outside of their control. Our workshop will focus on contemporary issues around change management and discuss solutions that exist through an engaged and motivated workforce.”

Mark Anderson, Vice Principal, said: “Our employer breakfasts are very popular, attracting employers from a wide variety of sectors including finance, retail, public sector, the care sector, energy, the arts and more. We give businesses the chance to discuss their own experiences, network, share best practice and develop new relationships. We would encourage any type of company to come along and get involved.”

The event is free of charge and open to all employers and businesses. Find out more and register for free at https://bit.ly/39Bwbi3.
