The town centre is starting to come alive with new ventures opening up for business. Two units were recently taken over with another four in the process of completing contracts with the landlords and solicitors and hope to be open shortly.
The first of the new units is ‘Top Nail Spa’ based at 50 Beveridge Way and is run by Josh and Tony offering eyebrow wax, nail designs, nail gels, as well as pedicure and manicure services. They are very friendly and have many years experience using quality products with a variety of colours to suit any customer. The other recently opened salon is ‘After Glowz Studio’ ran by Rebecca Ainsley-Weighell offering four luxurious stand up tanning booths with controllable cooling fans and accepts single or block bookings.
They also offer beauty, tanning, nutrition advice and supplements as well as a range of comfy gym clothing. Working alongside Rebecca is Aimee Lou Scanlon, offering a personal nail service. Bookings for either can be made on 07506 528877 or visit the Facebook page.
The town centre management have reported that the ex-Peacocks Unit has been let to Durham Beds & Furniture Store, who are shopfitting. We do not have an opening date, however, it will be very soon – watch Newton News for more details.
