The official opening of a brand new Bargain Buys store to the residents of Newton Aycliffe took place on Friday 5th October, offering massive savings and fantastic bargains during the Store Opening Day Only Specials.
The new store is located at the Newton Aycliffe Shopping Centre and was officially opened in a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Deputy Mayor at 10am.
With stylish homeware products, as well as a wide variety of toiletries and top branded confectionery and drinks on offer, they provide amazing value so customers can kit out their homes and stock up on branded household essentials for less.
The Newton Aycliffe store has recruited over 30 new members of staff (part and full time) from the local area to become part of the Bargain Buys team.
The newly designed store has been modelled to enhance the shopping experience for customers. It also makes it even easier to find all the bargains and savings on offer every day on branded household and food products; staff are being retained from the previous Poundworld store.
To kick-start the official opening, there was over £3,000 worth of giveaways. The first five customers in line received a double faux leather bed for £19.99 (RRP £99.99). The next 10 customers grabbed themselves a Hyundai steam mop for £14.99
(RRP £39.99), and then the next 15 customers took home a glass TV stand for only £9.99 (RRP £49.99)! Finally, for the next 175 customers, a washable rug was available for £4.99 (RRP
£9.99).
