Greenfield Arts are delighted to announce their new autumn season programme and share with you the many events, exhibitions, projects and activities that are on offer. This season the programme is encouraging our community to express ideas, explore who we are and develop a voice.

The Greenfield Gallery will be hosting an exciting series of exhibitions which will begin with ‘Man Made’, by our artist in residence, Richard Bliss. Richard is a collaborative artist who has been working closely with the Greenfield Community leading an exploration and investigation of how men adjust to changing masculinity and includes work supported by Lubain Himid (Turner Prize Winner 2017) and artist William Titley.

Greenfield are also privileged to host an exceptional exhibition ‘Norman Cornish: A Man of Destiny’ which chronicles the journey of Norman Cornish and the great determination and resilience he showed to become a professional artist. There will be a preview event, illustrated talk and a series of workshops that explore ‘the extraordinary in the everyday’.

Our creative activities are inspired by our season and include a range of quality courses such as print making, cyanotype, jewellery making and mixed media collage as well as popular favourites Yoga and Spanish.

There is still chance to book a place on our summer family activities and our adult needle-felting workshop. Why not learn a new skill in a lovely environment with textile artist Victoria Ramsay. Try something new, get creative and join us to make some fabulous new work to take away.
