The second Bishop Auckland Music Society (BAMS) concert of 2022 takes place on 6th May. The concert will be held at Bishop Auckland Methodist Church on Friday 6th May at 7.30pm. The musicians performing are Annemarie Federie (Horn) and Dafydd Chapman (Piano).
At the age of seventeen, Annemarie Federie won the Brass category final of 2020 BBC Young Musician competition. In 2021 she won joint first prize at the Gianni Bergamo Classic Music Award and was a semi finalist at the ARD International Music Competition in Munich.
Dafydd Chapman is at the Royal Academy of Music studying classical piano. He spent most of his childhood studying at the Junior Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He won numerous prizes there, most notably the 2015 Junior Conservatoire Concerto Competition.
