Bishop Auckland Music Society follows on from its successful Sarah Beth Briggs concert at its new venue in Bishop Auckland Methodist Church, with a concert of note featuring Charlotte Ashton (flute) and Joseph Havlat (piano).

Charlotte is in demand as a soloist and chamber musician, as well as appearing as Principal Flute with major orchestras across the UK. She was recently made an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music.

Joseph has performed in prestigious concert venues around the world as a soloist and as part of chamber groups.

He is currently serving a Piano Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

They will perform in the second of the BAMS 2019 concert series on Friday, 3rd May at 7.30pm in the Methodist Church in Cockton Hill Road, Bishop Auckland, featuring works by Bach, Schubert and Debussy amongst others.
