Newton News acknowledge receipt of a donation of £100 from Robert and Pam Burns from Newton Aycliffe. Robert said he was very happy to give something back to the NHS which would bring so much benefit to others. Another lovely gesture is from Derek and Elizabeth Wheadon who are celebrating their Golden Wedding soon and have asked that instead of gifts their guests donate to the Scanner Appeal. Newton News is happy to receive donations for the appeal at its offices next to the Blue Bridge.
