A new group for the men of Newton Aycliffe and surrounding areas who have retired, live alone have a craft or skill that they would like to share with like minded people, play snooker, dominoes, bowls or just sit and talk with people and have a cup of tea has been formed.

We require a volunteer lady or gentleman cook – any offers please get in touch.

Following on from the ‘New Friends, New Places’ group, mainly for ladies, that has successfully ran for 11 years with 52 members attending every week, where many lifelong friends have been made. They enjoy outings, holidays and activities – boredom and loneliness are a thing of their past.
