Topps Match Attax, the world’s most successful sports trading card game, gave collectors, fans and families the chance to meet Middlesbrough FC superstar, George Friend on Wednesday 14th November.
The Boro defender was on hand to meet fans and their families, sign cards for collectors and pose for pictures at Tesco Extra in Newton Aycliffe.
At the free event, kids learned how to play Match Attax, swapped cards with other collectors and pitched themselves against other fans to win the chance to take on the Match Attax Master and earn a coveted Champion Card.
To make the event even more exciting, a Topps football freestyler was there entertaining the crowds with gravity-defying performances and amazing tricks.
The event was a great success. and provided the perfect opportunity for fans and their families to join in with some footballing fun, meet George Friend and see for themselves the incredible skills of our football freestyler; it proved an exciting addition to many people’s weekly shop!
