The Western Area Community Centre at Silverdale House are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help us to market our building. A knowledge of applying for funding bids would be useful. We have rooms for meetings with refreshment and parking facilities. Our rates are very reasonable, we have Internet and Broadband with a computer suite. Pool Room, Rest Room, outdoor fenced garden back and front, Disability toilets etc. It is an ideal facility for people who just want a place to meet and would be suitable for a Play Group etc.
The position would suit a semi retired person and/or could eventually turn into a employed position.
