There will be a meeting of the Newton Aycliffe Wildlife Explorers on the Aycliffe Nature Park at 9.30am on Saturday, August 2nd looking at life in the Park.
This will be followed by an opportunity to meet the leaders and have a chat about who we are and what we do for young people in our community and more importantly, what you can do to help.
Refreshments will be available from about 12 noon and we look forward to seeing you there!
The Newton Aycliffe Wildlife Explorers are your local junior branch of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. Our monthly meetings are held at the Eco-Centre at Moore Lane, and at the Aycliffe Nature Park, and are aimed at getting a broad variety of “natural history” subjects through to young people in a fun way. These include education, play, and craft.
Our ultimate aim is for our young members to grow up with knowledge and respect for the world around them.Meetings are £1.50 per child, and include refreshments.
