Local charity Madathon have donated a portable Defibrillator to Horndale Residents Association which we will use on coach trips and events. We were looking to purchase a Defib unit as we recognise that the majority of people going on our trips are of the older generation, also we can be in the middle of nowhere while travelling on days out. After a chance conversation Madathon became aware of our plans and kindly offered to donate a unit.

A new unit costs approximately £700 so we can use this money for more community based events.

Madathon is a local charity who raises money for life saving equipment, Northumbria Blood Bikes, MRI Scanner and much more.
