On Tuesday 7th January folk gathered at Neville Parade Methodist Church to share a three course meal together. Every Tuesday during term time, a small, faithful band of volunteers prepare and serve up to 25 people with a good, hearty meal. Throughout 2013 over 1000 meals were served.
There is always room for more and Liz Bates who organises the Luncheon Club would be happy to hear from anyone who would like to start coming along. There is a nominal charge of £3, lunch is served at Noon and Liz can be contacted on 310182.
