Dear Sir,
I took my two children with my hubby to see Ameila Lily which was fantastic, but even though the town centre looks great it’s very sad to see so many shops empty and is very disheartening.
I have only lived in Aycliffe for a year and a half and changes are good, but it’s only good if there are a good choice of shops something this town lacks. In my opinion it would be better for the landlords to  keep low rents and have all shops used as opposed to high rents and eventually no shops!
I think if landlords charged cheaper rent it would really put Aycliffe high on the shoppers map!
I was very sad to hear about The Cubby and felt sick. I hope the heartless people who did this get caught and are well and truly punished.  Bill and his staff of volunteers are lovely and like every charity at this present time struggle.
I always look forward to my lush dinner on a Tuesday in the Cubby and I think the landlords of the town centre should do more for charities but then again do the landlords know the Cubby exists? – I bet not!
