It’s that time of year again. Oh Yes It Is! And it’s time for the local youth theatre group ‘The Tearaways’ annual production.

This year it is ‘Snow White’ and along with her seven friends will be peforming at the Civic Hall, Shildon from the 24th to 27th January.

Taking the star role of Snow White will be local girl Charlotte McAdam who once again has to eat that poisoned apple. On hand to help her will be the Good Fairy played by Gaynor Lambert. One half of the idiot comedy duo will be Katie Baldwin, whilst Abbie Griffiths, Jade Townsley, Leanne Foster, Sharday Smith, and Jessica Taylor dance away quite confidently during the 2 hour show.

Apart from the classic songs such as ‘Heigh Ho’, and ‘Whistle While You Work’, singers Blake Reed, Howard Affleck. Nataly Wood, Charlotte Lord and Sarah Donnelly sing many old and new hit songs too.

Keeping order and ensuring the productions run smoothly will be ever faithful Stage Manager Andrew Timmiss.Performances are on Thursday 24th January at 7.30pm when ALL tickets will be £2-50 each. Then on Friday 25th, Saturday 26th at 7.30pm, and finally Sunday 27th January, 2pm.
