The first Athlete Games was held in 2012 and each year it is growing bigger and better.  Two days, 300 athletes, 8 workouts, a focused crew, invaluable volunteers, great sponsors and an absolutely awesome crowd produced the Champions of the Athlete Games.
The Finals took place at the Phones 4U Arena in Manchester, on the 17th and 18th of January 2015. The event saw 300 athletes compete over two days to see who would be victorious in The Athlete Games and take home their share of the £40,000 prize purse!
Terry and Vikki Anderson, owners of “CrossFit All Out” in Newton Aycliffe said: “The Athlete Games is a major CrossFit event held in the UK.  To see such awesome athletes competing, yet still supporting each other is so inspiring.  Some competitors were cheering each other on to finish their gruelling workouts and others were congratulating each other on their fantastic achievements.
It’s such a supportive community of all ages, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our 1 year anniversary than sharing this experience with 20 of our members.  We look forward to seeing what 2015 holds for us.”
